What if slavery never ended? Slavery just got clever and camouflaged itself like a chameleon. Right infront of our societies face and yet we still can’t see it.
Our prison system is a private industrial complex traded on wall street right next to Apple, McDonalds, starbucks.
Or even worse the other type of slavery where people are owned for their physical skill in a much more clever way. Showcased infront of millions Fooling all the weak minded ones of false freedom and choice. A distraction of the grandest design. Just long enough to let the burglars, rapists, murderers, and gluttons on Capitol Hill to have their way with the virginity of this country.
Such a young country. Still so beautiful but with a mind full of empathy, narcissism, amorality, and philistines. It’s hard to walk around sometimes and see all these things being wagged in your face all the time.
“I came out of left field, of course you don’t identify with me.
A left hook hugs your cheek, too distracted by your reflection to see.
A contrarian thinker, got mixed up with books and ceased my own power.
Machiavellian scheme, I’m here to claim my princedom tower.
Usurp the king, a declaration of villainy.
Henry IV wasn’t capable of such tyranny.”—
“Pain really is beauty. You see better with pain. You remember every detail of that moment. That sharp pain in the pit of your stomach makes you really truly see everything for what it really is. What it really is. What is it really?”—
After the stroke he became a shadow of his former self. He stopped being as human, he seemed more animal now. A dog who pisses in your living room because he doesn’t know better. A cat who wanders off, getting lost, and you have no clue when they’re coming back. A look of disgust will paint their face where one of love was once drawn. The realities of life are cruel sometimes but they make things very clear. Stick to the ones who draw you glowing with love or your last days in this place will be painted black with the whispers of desperation. But yeah, whatever, just pass the jay.
